I was admiring the lovely 50mm bullnose sandstone steps Marshalls sell. Builders merchant had some on display and they look fab!
However... I have built 400mm deep steps which ideally would have a 50mm overhang (including the bullnose).
My 11 steps are 400mm deep, 150mm rise and 1.3m wide.
Paving around steps is polished sandstone, I'm looking for something nice to use on the steps.
I will pay a mason to bullnose them if I have to, but I can only find thin sandstone (22mm-ish). Id like 40-50mm if possible. Riven isnt an option either- must be uniform.
Do you know of any products/suppliers that could help me out?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks again for replies. I've sent a few emails off to some of the suppliers mentioned above.lutonlagerlout wrote:those steps are 350 mm deep why not put a 100mm cut or even better a 200 by 100 by 50mm clay paver at the back to make a contrast
The idea of putting something at the back of the step had been thought about, but I'm really scared it would look daft. I've never seen that done.
In saying that- it would deffo be the best way to go if I can make it look nice.
I'll post a picture of the steps as they are now as soon as I get a chance.
-Thanks again.
