Hi - can anyone give some advice please?

I am hoping to buy a 100 year old property and the Surveyor has told me that the external ground level has been built too high and is compromising the DPC (causing a damp issue).

I've looked on the main website and there's some great info but I'd really like some help with exactly what I should ask my builder to quote for. Is it as simple as asking him to lower the ground level to 150mm below the DPC (it's a very small garden area)?

Any help would be appreciated....
