Looking for some advice on sealing sandstone. In process of having a new patio laid of polished mint indian sandstone, keep getting conflicting advice!

Should I get the stones sealed or not? If yes any advice on which sealant. Gardener is going for MN Stainstop, the stone supplier is going for: Cementone’s Natural Stone Sealer.

Thank you.

is it my turn for a roasting today? :)

you all know exactly what i meant

I lay flags because its an add on to building work, and when i let others do it,it was crap.

I like a bit if variety at work so its digging ,concreting, demo,BWK, drives and patios, some roof tiling etc.

I have been laying bricks solid for the last 6 days and it takes me back to the old days of housebashing

it makes a change ,but come monday i have to hand dig a foundation in chalk, bad access shed and greenhouse too close to move :)

I dont mind what i do as long as its work and i get paid

in our game we have to diversify to survive. As long as we do it well, that's all that matters. I had a long run of work a few years back just putting right what others had messed up. A good all rounder is worth is weight...... :;):
