trying this :p [IMG]http://i742.photobucket.com/albums....MG] there you go turf was rolawn medalion very good all the paving was from martin at stonevalley stoke top stuff small paving units are all laid on 50mm 4to1 sharpsand and cement just before laying a row we pour a mix of cement and water and sbr mixed is a very good bond bridge then pointed with instarmac gunpoint yorkstone colour but to me is normal mortar looking will continue to use gunpoint on large paving units but the flowpoint on small units cheers cookie :p

I'm not speaking for cooky,but from personal experience i have found that old brick man holes tend to be parallel to the main run ,which is mostly not in like with the houseken wrote:That looks tip top. This is purely a question and not a criticism, what’s the reason the inset manhole cover was not installed parallel with the paving?
so without a lot of corbelling the cover can only go 1 way
unless you are Monsieur g'ammage and you get 1 specially made :;):
Is that indian stone that is coursed ?
