the surface is a textured finish so I would give the Marshall's technical helpline a ring seeing as its their block

not that i am saying other companies sealing products would not do the same job its just i would hate it to turn pear shape and the sealer build up in the low parts of the textured surface of the blocks if you know what i mean

the paving has been down 6 months, and i wont be asking BMs their sole purpose is to sell you what they want to sell you
not what you need
i was looking for someone here who had actually used then sealed these blocks
cost is not a concern, but quality is

For what it's worth - we do make a sand stabiliser/sealant - I did a demo today on some Marshall Conservation Paving (which is similar - I think) to the Argent Paving? (shot blasted, silver grey textured).

If you wanted to a sample tin to try on a small area first, I can get a 2.5litre tin for you to try??

Cost per 25litre tin is in the region of £100.00; so granted there are cheaper products available, but ours is good quality.

Sales pitch over!! - let me know if you would like to try it.

Argent, and some other very light/granitic shot-textured pavings, can have a funny reaction to certain sealants. Most notably, some products severely darken the colouring of the units. If Marshalls don't have a specific recommendation, I would tread very, very carefully and try out a few sample blocks before committing to covering the client's paving.

well fair play to robin from instarmac,he drove all the way to sunny gosmore yesterday in the hissing rain and dropped off some sand stabilising sealant and some gun point
we would have tried it out on some left over blocks other than the torrent of water which was everywhere
apologies for the lack of a brew robin, the guy we are working for there makes ebeneezer look like rockafella :;):
will be testing tomorrow
cheers LLL :)
