Sloping or level patio? - Is it ok to have patio without a slope?

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

I am trying to make a patio (8m by 3m) in my back garden (12m by 5m). Ideally I would like a level patio without any slopes slightly raiesed above the rest of the garden. There would be at least a metre of space all around the patio. The gap between the patio and the house would be about 3 metres.

Do all patios have to have a slope to drain off the rain water efficiently? Any help and advice would be really appreciated.

whether the flags are layed 1 inch from the house or on mars they need them same fall to drain water. (somewhere between a 1;50 to 1 ;80 fall will do dependig on flags more riven = more slope)
