I am in the process of laying about 120 sq metres of Indian Sandstone, this cane in 11.25sq m packs and 5 sizes.
What is the best way of pointing the joints as i don't want the joint to crack and fail leaving places for weed to grow?

about £400 + vat to do 150m of 22mm calibrated with 10mm joint to 22-30mm deep and then all the edging in setts.

I used geofix about 8 years ago working for a national driveway company, every job that we did we got called back to, also jobs other's did i got called to ,to replace to goo with more goo, the stuff is total rubbish

As for this resiply goo, what makes it better than the tried and tested romex, if it was the same there would be a patent issue?

Can't comment on other products, but I used (was recommended) to use Geofix when I laid my patio. Complete and utter rubbish. The manufacturers of this product should be done under the trades description act as it is not fit for purpose. I'm going to re-point my patio with simple coloured mortar.

I'm currently having a patio of Marshalls Fairstone Autumn Bronze sandstone laid (certainly not the cheapest). Marshalls instructions state to mortar joints. Contracters assumed they would use Geofix - but as Geofix instructions say to use in joints of at least 25mm and stones are calibrated to 22mm, I'm not keen.

Is there a mortar colour dye that can be used? If so, any suggestions as to brand/colour to work with the Autumn Bronze would be appreciated? I'm female and an absolute beginner in these matters.

for indian sandstone try the GftK 800 mortars from www.NCCStreetscape.co.uk - Lots of info, videos and Case Studies with different stone on the website.
