Pen number? - What pen number should i have for my dri

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

You really need to post a pic,to see the problem. you can get scuffing on freshly laid mac at this time of year,if your turning the car wheels on the spot.that is easily repairable. if it was an overlay it should have been laid 30-50 mm deep,otherwise it should have been laid on a basecourse say 50 base 30 top.
6mm dbm is a good material. we did 120 tonnes today overlaying an existing road.on monday we did 36 tonnes on a driveway. its our most used grade and you should get 20 years use no probs,if its done properly.
sma up here is only used on main roads. i've seen some of dave l 's pics and he knows how to lay it, but most surfacing companys wouldnt use it on driveways unless its being machine laid,as its a very hard/skilled job to get a decent finish on the areas that require it to be hand laid
