Hi,

I hope someone will be able to advise me. My house is on a hill and my front garden slopes back to front about half a metere over two meters. I would like too block pave it, my thinking is that I would have a brick wall of about a meter at the front and the sides of the property to act like a retaining wall, it is a terraced house and and the entrance is shared in the middle of the two houses. My question is how do I build up the base and what should I do for drainage, there is no drainage at the moment.

Hope this is enough information

Thanks
Paul

you will need to consider the footings of the property working resonable close to them at that kind of depth could be a real disaster, without pics id guess piling would be a good option then something pretty to face it.
