Hi all haven’t posted for a while sorry hope everyone’s busy and ok.
I’m about to use sika to point up a patio anyone used it before?
The slabs are 400x400x40 mm marshal’s argent with a beveled edge and 6mm gaps. I have used gtfk vdw 850 in the past and i would trust this again but the customer wants to save £45!! And has purchased this sika stuff in gray shall I give it a go is it any good?

There was a discussion on it in the craic.

Heres the link: SIKA

doesn't look too bad ,judging by the comments, and alot cheaper too.

i used it today and it seemed fine id give it 5/10 as it takes a fair bit of working in and slightly stains the slab ,i have used the gtfk 850 and it was 10/10 for ease of use can be worked in the rain and the finnish is very nice but the sika as a cheaper solution seems fine only time will tell how well it lasts ?

I have used Sika. I am still completing my patio and will order romex to finish off, even though i have Sika left. It has left a little stain on the slabs (not that noticable though, the wife hasnt said anything). However when the ground is damp (but the slabs dry) it gives a very noticeable dark rim around the slab. I think its the sika holding the water and passing it into the slab. Romex may be the same but it has good reports on here.
