Stone block paving - Sources of sawn stone blocks for drive

Does anyone know of a source of some 'sawn' stone blocks (200x100x50), (probably sandstone)? I know of Marshall 'Fairtrade' but no others (and unbelievably no-one seems to have any samples of these anywhere near us) and these were given the thumbs down by the mem sahib. I am in Kent and the south east has very few suppliers, everyone seems to be based in the midlands or further north. I have found sources of split/riven blocks in my area but of course they are of in inconsistent thickness and need a 'rigid' construction base with concrete then mortar which I really don't want to do (sloping drive with multiple changes of angle). I have spent days looking through the web sites (some with frustratingly little detailed information) and of course you can't trust the colours etc. from a small pic on a web site.

Exactly what I found.
I took a chance an ordered my Indian Sandstone pavind from simplypaving.com. The colour I received wasn't exactly what I was expecting but wasn't disasterous and I can live with it.
Would've prefered a number of local outlets to visit with stuff in stock and then choose what you'll actually be getting but that wasn't possible.
If your local supplier has to order in there's a good chance it will have been quarried at a different time and the batch will be slightly different from they stuff they have on display.
Same as buying over the net.

Not sure if they have what you want but you could try www.rock-unique.com or perhaps travel further to www.londonstonepaving.co.uk

try plaspave they sell them they have some in our local builders merchants on display in bolton would imagine they will have displays down south as well pricey though ???

plaspave only launched the stone block paving this year, its in the new brochure but not on the website

if you click on the drop down menu listing the towns or areas they have stockists it would seem that we are very fortunate in the North to have such a good company manufacturing and supplying excellent products but alas for them darn sarf not so good

MR looks interesting. They are in Grays Essex so are accessible from Kent
Normally I'd be a bit wary of buying off ebay but they do 'appear' to be a proper company.

Gary please let me know how you get on 'cos doing my drive will be my next project.
