I have a house that is on a steep hill on the west coast of scotland. We have a surface water issue which is causing damp on the rear wall of the property.
I'm looking at putting in french drains following our structural engineers advice. I have only found the plastic pipe with holes all over at our builder's merchants.
I thought that I would need a pipe with holes only in the top to absorb water and carry it away.
If I get the pipe with water all over will it still work?
Thanks
