Flush pointing

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

I notice that this site recommends recessed pointing.

Is there any real reason not to have flushed pointing?

I think it would look better personally........... ?

recesed pointing is easyier to get a good finish or angled pointing looks good only a couple of mm with pointing which is as flush as could be :;): ???
