Hello

I have just laid my patio and pointed the joints using a semi dry mix with black dye added. I did a test mix to check the colour and the next day it looked dark enough but since pointing my slabs ( about 3 weeks ago ) it has dryed alot lighter than i wished its also not that consistent in colour. I gauged everything very carefully so not sure what i did wrong.
I was wandering if there is a paint or a stain that i could use to paint the joints??. The patio itself looks great so its a shame. I suppose the only other option is to break out all the morter and start again.
Thanks for any help

Check out this thread -
coloured pointing

Never had much success myself - happy to live with the trad grey these days.. :)
ps - forget paint or stain - unless it's for a photo-shoot !!
