after 3 flymos in 5 years i was somewhat aghast to see a large box with "electric lawnmower" written on it and a lot of german writing
mrs lout had bought me a new present ,a Lidl leccy lawnmower

I know a lot of the time on here we slate products that are naff or dont work ,but have to say I have been pleasantly surprised by the mower and recommend it heartily
of course its early days ,but for £40 opposed to £100 if it lasts a year its done the job
i never thought i would say it ,but thumbs up to lidl
LLL :)

It was like a scene from the days of the Wright Brothers in the yard this morning, 10 lads gawping opened mouthed as a big metal bird flew over head.

They reminded me of those penguins on that island that fall over when the RAF fly directly over the top of them :D

You lot need some sense knocking into you with some 2x4 she horrible. and the horse needs it's ridiculous barnet sorting out. LLL I can top your Lidl mower I got the steal of the year today it's a Hayter Harrier 56pro with the silver deck 2 years old hardly used £1100 new and I got it second hand for a princely £180. Just spent the evening doing chequered patterns on my lawns like a kid with a new toy. Anyone beat that.

pablo you have no life
indeed neither do i :)
went to a champagne reception for esther rantzen last night,it was a lot of fun and she is a very classy and articulate lady for someone who is 70 next week
needless to say the fizz went to my head and i let the clutch slip on my mouth before putting my brain into gear
but thats usual for me
LLL :)

well 2 years on and the lidl lawn mower has just done its first cut of the year
I really cant fault it as we have a large scots fir at the bottom of the garden and i must have ran over 30 pine cones buried in the grass

in 2 years i have done zero maintenance and cleaning so ire ckon the £40 was worth it
hows the hayter pablo?
and more importantly who are nadine and the kids bobbi?
LLL :;):
