regarding cleaning the drive with nitromors being a particularly nasty chemical wouldn't this have to be bunded and collected and disposed of as hazardous waste rather than washed down the drain?

My thoughts,exactly.But the tech bloke from Everbuild says Nitromors " smashes " the sealant, it all becomes inert and you just need to wash it off.

I'm not convinced, and have no desire to knock out the local eco-system.

on larger scale make a bund either out of sand bags etc, block drains wash off into bund to make pool and then the you'd have to get in a vacum tanker etc licensed to handle hazardous waste and remove.

or use mop up/soak up crystals and sweep and shovel up.

basically what they do on the road when they have a chemical spillage, or even milk. got stuck once after a milk tanker had over turned and talking to the firemen they said the milk was just as bad as chemicals gets in water system and kills every thing.

Funny you should say that, I had a tree felled this week and the guy that dropped it said to put milk on the stump, apparently rots them fast as anything.

I've got 2 litres of Tesco's finest that'll be going on it at the weekend.
