Hi all

I've just typed a huge " Hello, this is me " type intro and promptly lost it by clicking the wrong button on my laptop.

So, I'll re-do that later , and crack on with the main issue.

I've been asked to clean and re-seal a drive. Previously done with Everbuilds 409 Blockguard,(a clear solvent based acrylic) according to the homeowner.

Everbuilds' tech help guy says the remaining non-worn coating has to be stripped off with Nitromors All Purpose ( non drip gel type )

I've tested in an out of the way area , and found that a healthy amount does indeed break it down , but a lightly coated brush "wiped" across a block until there's none on the brush dosn't make much of an impact.

If I have to liberally apply Nitromors it's going to be an expensive job.

My question is , can anyone recommend something to lift the Blockguard? I've searched , but am prepared to be pointed in the right direction if I've missed something.

Many thanks

Cheers

Hi

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware of R&G and Amogen from reading the board, but , being new I thought I'd let them answer if they wish , rather than pestering them via email.

I thought that hot water might be the answer, however I've only got cold on tap..........................

Cheers

most of these power washers are kerosene fueled and produce their own heat, the secrets not to drop the temp. :D

Guys,

The chat we had was just a general chat about life as a driveway and patio cleaner!!! Noting really in depth was discussed. If there was anything regarding the original post that would be of assistance to the first post, i would have typed it out for future reference.....

OMG , first thread on this board and I've upset the reglars.Apologies all round

I thought I might get flamed for asking a question that's been put a brazilian times before, so for a member to offer to take a phone call was too good a chance to pass over.

Anyway , I'll have loads more questions, no doubt , and welcome any and all responses , serious and sarky , 'cause I do like a bit of banter

:;):

Cheers
