Alright chaps,

So I just did my first pointing job with Romex - done on setts and yes very pleased with the result, BUT I have to ask, isn't it exactly the same as 'Pavefix' available at B&Q. It looks the same, smells the same, feels the same to work with...

Also with the added bonus that it's cheaper - about £14 FOR 10kg rather than £36 (ish) for 15kg - and you don't have to wait 5 days for a delivery that costs you another £20.

I use Pavefix as the example but I assume the 'Patio Jointing Grout' you can get in Wickes is also the same stuff. Is there a subtle difference between these and Romex that I'm missing?

Be glad to hear anyone's views,

Cheers,
Gray

Which do you think has the better quality a piece of cod from the chippie or one of tesco economy cod in a box... They smell roughly the same , fry the same until you eat it... :p

It's about quality and durability Gray.... If b&q or wicks stuff was good then we would of told you to use it..... Put a pic up if you can :D
