Hi,

I need to dig a trench across my driveway for drainage. After putting in a suitable sub-base and laying the pipe, is it ok to use foam concrete (http://www.grabtrucks.com/ready-mix-con ... -concrete/) to fill the trench. My driveway is only gravel over what looks like mot 1 or patches of thin layers of tarmac anyway.

Using this concrete would save me the hassle of compacting layers of mot with a trench rammer.

Thanks,

R

you could use any type of concrete so long as it stabilises the ground, if the foam concrete is cheap enough then yeah its more than ideal for a driveway
