I need to re point my patio having pressure washed it the last 2 years which has removed much of the original mortar. It is Bradstone Gironde and is about 30msq irregular shapes some slabs 600 x 600, some 300 x600 and some300 x 300. Have been reading about the new resin mortars which seems loads easier to me (being a girl!!) Can anyone advise if this is suitable for the situation described and if so how particular do I need to be about getting out the remnants of the existing joints. Also how do I know how much I need?Is it really as easy as it looks on the adverts!
