Dear Sirs
I was wonder if you could help. I live in a terraced house and parking is a problem. I am thinking of having block paving done so that I can park the cars. The size is approx 36Sq Meters. What would be arough estimate of getting block paving done and also if I put wall on both sides of the terraced property then I guess that will increase the cost.
Ideally how much extra will the wall be. The length of the house is appros 6.5m and the width is approx 5.5m, hence te walls will be on the 6.5 m side.
Inorder to reduce the cost and not have walls whats the best way of definingg the boundary between the neighbours considering I live in a terraced property.
Please help. Any links to some pictures would be helpful too.
Just a rough bracket of cost would give me an idea when I get quotes cause I have no idea at all.
Mny thanks

I don't provide prices for individual projects - let the contractors tendering for the work do that. I don't want the job: I don't take on any construction work any more, so I ain't gonna price it!
The general guide prices are on the Block Paving page, as I said. The table gives 'average' figures for typical projects nationwide. If you want to know more about local prices for specific projects, you'll have to ask a number of local contractors.

Well i have a bt number but find it easier with the mobile as im obviosly never at home not many people like speaking to answering machines. As for the address i dont think its a good idea to have my address plastered all over the web. When you have a quote is when you find out all my details. and not before. Thanks
I can't see why having a trading address published on a website is a drawback. I would NEVER deal with any company that did not give its trading address and a landline number upfront.
Relying on mobile numbers, or 0800 numbers that divert to mobiles, and not giving trading addresses is symptomatic of the cowboy element that plagues our trade - make yourself stand out as one of the Good Guys and provide full contact details on your website.
If you're worried about missing calls during the day, you can have your calls diverted for less than 2 quid per month - it gives a much more professional image.
