I'm looking to get a pick up later this year, i have looked at the Mitsi l200 , Toyota Hilux and the Nissan Navara, all ok but not sure which is the best.

I want a club cab not the double cab and has to be good at pulling trailers

Any body have any ideas

I have posted on another thread, persnally, the Navara is the best, and if you are after a really good second hand one, i might know someone who is selling one soon.
just steer clear of ford

dont see what the prob is with ford?... bought a brand new ranger 3.0 auto with leather and air con 2 yrs ago, fully loaded. cost 14k brand new, couple of minor probs, but no more than with any other pick up manufacturer. all sorted by ford under warranty - 3 yr warranty plus 3 yr full european recovery. for 14k?... priceless...

There's a guy near me who runs Navaras in his hire business, he told me they were great but has had to have 4 new clutchs, then when i saw him the other day his engine had blown up and its only a few years old.
so that is putting me off a bit

dont see what the prob is with ford?

most recalls of any manufacturer
Worst customer service ever (public opinion poll )
Noisy engines
Uneconomical engines
behind with technology compared to others
resale value is poorest of all of them
jd power survey puts them low down on the list

Nissan navara 2.5l 173hp
Ford 2.5 diesel 143hp
Nissan navara 18,000 mile services
Ford 12,000 mile services

I could start a whole post of about ford in general. Some pretty bad horror stories from car drivers alone, and some from a ford uk rep, who evens knows about the worst dealer in the country. i wont name them here though.
