Any new inventions please post here. We must have a Ben Franklin on here

I've been working on a new invention.

It's a bit like that row of framed photies that Jeff Tracey had on his wall in his Thunderbirds office, except, instead of the eyes flashing when one of his offspring needed to speak to him about anything Thunderbirds-ish, mine would feature photies of my own kids, and their eyes would flash whenever they wanted to borrow* money, so I'd know not to answer the phone.

* This is borrowing in the sense that I lend money to them and I never see it again.

i had an idea the other day, after our site got hit again, talked to the guy who owns the company doing our cctv and montiroing for the finished house,

designed some ideas and looked at a few used mobile lighting towers to try out a test etc, researched it all spoke to him about the technical side then found i'd been beaten to the punch by jcb :(

http://www.jcb.com/PressCentre/NewsItem.aspx?ID=766

mine was based on an armored lighting tower with lights, speaker and cctv triggered by motion sensor to monitorring station by 3g

might still make one for our use and see if they work, jcb one will be bloody expensive.

p.s this is copyright etc its my idea back pff hah ;)

giles

i was like that when i was younger, would "borrow" money from my father but now he feels totally justified in not paying me back ever. asks me pick something up for him, me £20 lighter and his exact words are thanks son with a smile. ???

i was permanently skint and after a sub till about 24 years old, i kopped on but now its like rab says
every time i see my nan (87 ) i give her a hampden
"ooo you shouldn't have bothered " she says as she stuffs it in her pocket, when i was a kid (first of 20-odd grand kids) she would always slip me packets of fruit pastiles
its payback time now
