I have an existing contrete path (1200mm x 4000mm), can I lay flags onto it (with bedding between path & flag)?

Thanks in advance.

i asume the concrete is quite old and is not liable to sink in time, so you could quite easily lay the flags over the top in theory, the only problem is the dpc.(damp proof), you want to avoid coming above 6inch below this level ie 2 brick down. and in my experience this will more than likley not be possible. Assuming the path is near the house that is.

Thanks for the reply Alan.

The path is 2 metres away from any wall and the concrete is quite thick. I was thinking of taking it up and then laying the flags, it would save time, butI want to do a proper job that will last.
