been tipping today at local tip its gone up to 5 pounds a ton now for 7.5 ton wagon. just a sloppy field you tip it in get stuck then get pushed out by the big dozer but still lot cheaper than skips, no weigh bridge so that based on 4 tons, legal load or best guess.

I thought the same thing too :D

if you get stuck you get a push with a dozer
no wheel wash
no receipt
no transfer station so you can tip mixed stuff
no questions asked

hey it sounds brilliant like it used to be in the 80's :D

nope fully legal wheel wash on way out, receipt and report to office for ticket, vat charged. full waste categories recorded on ticket. its inert fill only from excavations no skips etc, they have area for hard core loads but looks like most goes on the haul roads.

area fully bunded with geo textile brand new dozer its run by a civils company. all it is, is you just dont tip on a concrete pad, i had to wait for 3 grabs to tip, murphy's, enterprise amd another utilities contractor. they weren't getting stuck in their 8 wheelers my little old 7.5 toner haha didn't do well.

paid by cheque, no mark of tail board the dozer blade was twice as wide as truck, nice gentle push out,

new holland d180, same as they run

they strip top soil, then fill voids and bring ground level +2 metres then re cover with soil seed and the farmer then put cattle back on, its near woodford and wilmslow its a busy tip.
