Driveway drainage to soakaway - Soakaway under drive

Foul and surface water, private drains and public sewers, land drains and soakaways, filter drains and any other ways of getting rid of water.

I have a very steep concrete driveway which I want to widen. The driveway slopes towards the highway. I propose putting a drainage channel across the entrance to the drive and draining to a soakaway.

Can the soakaway be under the driveway? If so could it be adjacent/under the drainage channel and be a long narrow strip type soakaway? Are there any products on the market which incorporate a drainage channel sat directly over a soakaway?
