on a serious note was pulling in 48k per year 2yrs ago, now 25k. seriously pissed off but whats out there? just glad to be in work.
Was a good earner before they changed the rule. I used to go in for job and knock weekends, do it by 12.00 on Saturday and still get double shifts for the Saturday and Sunday. Had a van and deisal card, plus lodge money so was no lay outs. Now they want you in for 4/5 hours Saturday, no break. Not worth the journey. Was getting £40,000 for a long time, now it's dropped :(

when the govt talk of this quantitative easing, all they are doing is giving money to massive firms to do civils etc
these firms know they have the little guy in the palm of their hand so its take it or leave it
I was pulling 800 + a week 2 years ago
with all our cost cutting and tight pricing its more like 650 now
but its work
1 phone call can make all the difference
