New drive

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

I've recently moved into a house and now have finally finished all jobs inside so I am now turning my attention to the garden.

I've got an old concrete drive at present that slops from the house to the road that has quite a few large cracks in it. The drive has a man hole cover as well that has been renewed at some time as there is new concrete around this area that I'd imagine the water board has done.

I'm looking for a cheap way of making it look good, I was think about gravel but with the slop I'm not too sure if this would be a good idea. The slop is about 1/2 meter in total.

Any suggestions?

read the mainsite detail here
TBH there are no cheap fixes for driveways , budget £50 per metre upwards for block paving or tarmac, you have too much fall there for shingle

the better quality concrete block paving costs £20-30 per metre, economy stuff costs £10 per metre
you get what you pay for
best to get 3 quotes from local reputable contractors who can show you recent work
either that or start spending your hard earned on a concrete breaker and a copy of tony's book
