we wer tracking santa last night on google earth when my 8 year old nephew asked me if santa really existed, i said he didn't and explined in detailed the betrayal for the last few years haha, about 4 years ago he got a 50cc quad and of course santa couldn't get it down the chimney. i had it on a pallet on the big telehandler up on the roof etc but i figured at 8 it was time to tell him the truth.

big mistake, massive crying fit and would not go to sleep. my mum and sister not talking to me all last night accusations of ruining xmas haha

its all seems alright now he got a million presents and his xbox. leb got a remote control john deere bull doozer its about 600mm long, 450mm high and we've bee out pushing real snow about with it haha.

happy xmas everyone

Season's greetings everyone.

I've been laid up the last couple of days, and I reckons its the start of a Chest Infection worst luck.

This is the best i have felt in five days, dont know what it was but i have been as weak as a lamb and barking like a dog.

Anyhow back on track now to beat all pringle eating records, washed down with lashings of stella.

Hope you all had a good one :)

Been stuck in doors, someone nicked my back wheel off my push bike. it was outside house, unlocked with pannian on, tools wet clothes etc. Why not just take the whole bike? Was planning a good long ride. Best part of £50 to get a new one. Can get a 2nd hand bike, for spares for that price. I reckon bike theft is just about as low as a thief can get. ??? O well, have to be 'Shanks' pony' for a while.

Someone nicked the back wheel off my push bike a couple of months ago when it was chained up at the train station.
The bike is ancient, it has rusty old steel wheels and looks awful, I keep it like that to deter thieves (well at least I thought it would!)
I couldn't believe it when someone went to the trouble of loosening the brakes, getting a spanner out to take a wheel that most people would bin.
Luckily I had a better quality ali wheel in my shed left over from my son’s old bike, £11.55 for new tyre/tube off ebay and I'm back on the road.

I now chain both wheels and the frame.

The ice-sheet has all but melted here, and if it doesn't get topped-up with fresh snow tonight, I'm going to have no valid excuse for not going to B&Q for the bits and pieces needed to complete a worryingly long list of DIY chores that I've been putting off since....oooh....err....about this time last year! :(

my boys been sick with lurgy since boxing day 6am, i've had it since last night, just being sick and no energy, his f'ing mum had a hissy fit about walking the 1 mile to pick him up rather than me driving and throwing up all the way, she just eventually turned up and he had a full on tantrum not wanting to go. going back to bed....
