Wife goes mad when i call it that in front of the posh mates..."It's a conservatory darling"..... i get with a dig in the ribs  The previous owners did the old one with the ground to high and the timber at the bottom is rotting. Doing it all myself so should take a while. Will have to break out the footings i reckon and start again. Any tips on the brickwork, size of cavity etc; will be helpful. Best deals on diy conservatories will also be helpful.
Cheers sean,
we used a comany called qcconservatories on the net we bought 2 of them at the same time one for us and one for the neighbour.

The cavity we done was 70mm and then we filled it with insulation, the neighbours has glass from the floor to the top, so we done the same with the end walls that he has.

Conservatory was easy to install its the first ive ever done bu it turned out ok, its like another room on the house but the inside took some time to complete.

I will try and load a photo of the inside for you to give you some ideas and it may help keep the mrs at bay :D

cheers simon
