Three discs damaged simultaneously: top (L5) and bottom (L3) "prolapsed" while the one in the middle (L4) is permanently and irreparably ruptured, exerting pressure onto the sciatic nerve and allowing the vertebra to make direct contact.As iff that wasn't enough, the accumulated scar tissue that developed during the 10 months Warrington Hospital played "Operation Cover Up" has distorted the muscles giving me a lop-sided limp and 24 hour pain.
And all caused by too many years of laying paving. I started laying 2x2s when I was 8, not realising that by the time I reached 36, the consultant reckoned the numerous MRI scans showed I had the back of a 60 year old, so they wrote me off.
