yeah didnt notice the feedback,TBH i wouldn't be buying anything off you upon seeing that
shoulda done buy it now, auctions can go bad for no real reason at times, also worth doing free delivery in a 25 miles radius,a tenner in diesel for a high value item is worth it

for the record
i have 1051 positive feedback since 13 march 2000

LLL :)

ha ha well yes there was a slight problem, i am a bit new to the whole selling thing on ebay and was also quite ill and unable to to keep an eye on things, anyway that guy was a bellend.

Not to fussed as it is cash on collection anyway, what would they think i would do steal there money and not give them wacker, when they came to collect it?

dan i got stung a few times at first, didnt put a reserve and lost a 600 quid dining room set for £10
if you dont want it to go for less than 275 that has to be the starting price, but then your fees get higher
i always start at 99p and make sure auctions end at around 7.30pm when people are in and able to watch their items
all the best LLL :)

And did you let it go for a tenner, for the sake of some bad feed back? i Know ebay policy states that you are legally bound and all that.......

Ye well i started it at 20 quid and had a "buy it now" but when the first bid was made it wiped the "buy it now" off?! And i didnt realise that i could use a reserve with a buy it now function, anyway lesson learned.

Ive sold quite a few more things but people contact me through email and it gets sold off the record so to speak.

dont really think its about the feedback, you place the auction/bid be a man and stand by it. thats why its called an auction and in all auctions you take a risk. just got stiffed for a hilti dx, £60. brand new as well owner will not part. ???

dan you are legally bound,i have had some right touchs the other way round when selling, had people buy it now when it is collect only and they lived in the highlands of scotland :)
so they paid and let me keep it
but i generally wont buy anything off anyone with any bad feedback, new users are the worst

what stinks of bullshit to me on the sellers info is the fact you have sold another wacker this month but your saying you bought this one by mistake, its got all the signs of a being like a dodgy second hand car dealer

you certainly don't want any adverse comments on your ebay profile as this is a massive put off for people, bit like doing a 1,000 jobs perfect and no one says anything but you do one bad job and everyone knows about it

i did bid on it but was turned down, I felt £ 30 was more than enough for this item seeing as I will have to ride shotgun into Preston to pick it up :p

Mick G i had two wackers a 450mm plate and a 320mm plate, i thought by selling both and buying one in an inbetween size ie the 400mm i could generate some money - u get it mate??

Well to be honest £30.00 is bullshit, ride shotgun in to preston, i live in one of the most expensive and sought after areas, Chipping you heard of it?? So ye more bullshit there Mick G, you sound like a bit of a prat anyway so i probably wouldnt of answerd the door.

You dont know me, ive just had a bit of bad luck on ebay and ive tried to be honest on the description or should i of lied?? maybe i will.

To be honest, legally bound or not and its not a question of being a man and standing buy it, when i need to put food on the table etc etc ebay policy can f*ck off.

Rab1 owell bad luck mate, times are hard and all that.

Slightly annoyed by some of the above posts, i am not dodgy or anything like that, if anything i am an overly onhest individual just trying to keep my head above the water.

Also LLL you were a new user once, everyones gotta start somwhere, i get this sorta shit everyday with only being 21 and running and owning a groundworks firm, you have to start somewhere and learn from your mistakes but for some reason no matter how hard you strive to do the best you can people still like to have go........This is a common one.."he knows newt" i usually reply, "well i must do cos ive got the job and you havent" get my drift..

And also Mickg2009 - your ebay name, did you bid that just to come on here after reading other posts to provoke an argument? As you feedback is 0% so you cant be using ebay all that often.

know a lad who came 2nd in an auction for a car, seller said car was in wales. it turned out new south wales oz, guy tried this scam loads of times.

DN, to be honest knew it was to much of a bargain, it`s worth over £1000 brand new. what pissed me off was the guys attitude, really smart and bolshie. all i wanted was my cash back.

calm down, calm down
there was no offence here, and if you read what i said dan i took some bad knocks selling when i didnt know the craic with reserves etc.
but if I bought something in an open auction and i won it i would expect to collect it at the price it went for

you live and learn

tbh you probably would have had more luck asking on here first, most of the lads on here are NW based

If you intend using ebay more i would start a new profile as your existing one will scare most punters away

good luck
LLL :)
