try a new way if they have only dropped a bit take up slab on outside take out 3 to 4 inches mix sharp sand and cement 5 to 1 semi dry screed out 5 mm higher than inside slab tap in slab with small rubber hammer only in the middle of slab dont stand on new laid slab after you have laid 3 or 4 wet with water make up some wet mix and haunch sides good look you can make a screed bar from wood to help you take a length of 3x2 x2foot 6 measure 18 halve inches then if your slab is 2 inch thick mark up one and three quarter inches cut along remaing length place on slab thats left on inside you pull along this gives you the perfect screed give me a call if you dont understand this is called a idiot stick in wales and i have used this method for thirty years and i am no idiot cheers cookie 07968582231
