just finished laying Indian my Indian Sandstone Patio. However I want to clad the up risers of steps and a low wall (2 courses of concrete block high by 25 meters long ) with the sandstone for a uniform finish.
I am a unsure of what compound to use to fix the sandstone to the wall and up risers (600x400 by 20-40mm thick sandstone ) any advice most welcome
Thanks

You could try an exterior tile adhesive like Ardex or similar. Try and get the stone as smooth as possible with as little variation in thickness as possible it will make things much easier.See if you can knock any high spots down with trowel or a chisel.
Can't see it from my house

you could buy regulated sandstone for the risers and the cladding, its about a tenner a metre more expensive but will save you a lot of headaches with the very riven flags

I posted a similar question, i used SBA morter additive. Just make sure you dampen the stone and wall before applying your morter...
