:I hope to rest today.
After a long week of 16 hour days ( 5 hours a day travelling) i thought i'd have a stress free weekend. Saturday finished your mans fence , then wife, daughter in law and i started getting stuff together to do a car boot. 9.00 o'clock phone call wifes lad rushed to hospital in ambulance. So her and D I L rush off there, leaving me with baby, loft emptying, car loading etc. Hour later D I L comes back, bored, just as i was about to have a rare guinness, feet up and chill. Said they where gonna stitch lads eye and i got to pick em up . So we had to empty her car of car seat push chair coke cups, mcdonalds, fish and chip wrappers etc Finally finished only to remember i was'nt insured for her car. Thinking i would have to empty wifes car she rang me and reminded me about my car. I had completly forgotten i had a car as i dont use it much :p Was in the waiting room for 3 hours, then the dr said " got to wait for a specialist to come from Hastings to Easborne to stitch his cut as it was to close to the lads eye." An hour later they told us he was'nt there, so we would have to go to Brighton hospital. At brighton for two hours, finally left at 3.45 got home at 4.30 in bed and then alarm went off to do car boot. oh, injury....half inch cut on his eye brow. Today feet up ???

did 6 hrs at allotment saturday then went to visit 2 sick friends (both terminal cancer and next door neighbours) then went to a 70th wedding anniversary (platinum would you believe, they got married 2 days before the outbreak of world war 2), they got a nice card from the queen, however no hampden inside
then went to a 35th birthday party till 3 AM
didnt do a lot yesterday
today went to the allotment produce show ,where donated fruit and veg is sold in aid of the pasque hospice, so there i was buying stuff back i donated saturday

I rarely take the bamk holidays and everytime I regret it. Started a large driveway and hardstanding this morning at 8am but plant never showed till 11. So had 4 guys scratching their holes till then. I had a 200year old oak stump to remove but the small backet had no teeth so spent 45mins taking them off the bigger one. Took 2hrs to get it up then it chucked it down and flooded everything so went home early. Why the hell do I bother. Had a great weekend though spanked the garden into shape pruned everthing built a new woodshed/ painted the garage and sorted out the veg garden. Last time i work a bank holiday I'm cursed.
Can't see it from my house

sheesh scratches head in disaray....
you have got to be having a laugh LLL, I have worked 7 days a week all my life and no one has ever stopped me bank holiday included
well I tell a lie I was stopped once about 15 years ago when I was still working at 10 past 10 in the evening and the following day I got a visit from the environmental office saying that 8pm is the cut off point for noise, but thats a one off and I did get carried away I was having so much fun the time just flew by
I have worked all day today bar diving for cover when the heavens opened for about 10 mins and no one will ever stop me either, thats my choice to work due to the fact I am that busy....
