Pretty Local as well .............£28 for 4 bottles ......that's 4 bags of kiln dried sand , would that be enough for my project ?

Not sure how it compares but I've asked Advanced to let me play around with some.

It's highly unlikely to be in the same league as epoxy resin bound products such as those mentioned by Bob_A, but for a simple patio with a limited budget, it may be the ideal solution.

If you do use it before I get a chance to experiment with it, please let us know how it goes.

We dont have a couch LLL but when i awake from a wine induced slumber on me settee in the early hours, i too marval at the crap sold on the info-mercials on the idiot lantern.

Paint a room the size of wembley in 15 minutes including all the cutting in !, get a six pack in 10 days, remove the fuzzy stuff off the cardigan you bought for £2 in 1964 with the new Fuzzmaster !!!!

strange joe but when i was a kid we called it the settee and the hall was called the lobby.

when i called these things this at school i was ridiculed for being posh (patently not posh HA house) so i changed my vocab to suit,so now its couch and hall

i seem to remember some other late late gameshow ,where eejits had to ring up and guess the missing word for £58 a second

"the ..... sat on the mat"

eejit says "cat??"

host with colgate smile says " sorry ,eejit from nowheresville that answer isnt there!!"

then 30 seconds later loon rings up and says "cat?"

and on,and on , ad nauseum

There's summat strangely fascinating about those late night phone-in quiz shows. The callers are most care-in-the-community cases, but the answers are a bloody fix.

Baby-sitting my 4-month old grand-daughter overnight a couple of weeks or so back, and she gets the yarps on about 3 in the morning. Some lass on the telly has her funbags falling out of her frock and is asking callers for their top pizza toppings. LLL's eejit phoned in at least three times with pepperoni/pepperami/paparazzi, and is stunned to be told each time that he's wrong, but the real shocker comes when the game is declared over and the comely maiden reveals the top answer, worth a whopping 3 grand.

So: what do you reckon is the number one pizza topping? How many of you said spinach? Naah: me neither, but that's what it was! Who the feck is ever going to guess that?

Ok guy's i am pretty much finished now apart from a few cuts and the pointing.

I would like to thank all that posted on my thread and for all the help i have had from this forum.
I must say it has been HARD work and i would NOT like to do it for a living.

I have achieved what i set out to do and i must say it has turned out not too bad for a DIY'er with a glass back.

I will try get some pictures up when it has been pointed up etc but don't count on it being done this side of Christmas.

Again a big thanks to all who has replied to my thread and all the advice what was given a big thumbs up.

All i need to do also is sell the belle 150 cement mixer /wheelbarrow and the 200 blocks i have left and £150 would buy the lot and would even throw in a few spades.
