The water will struggle to "run off" because you have upstand on those edging kerbs. While some may find its way through the joints between adjacent kerbs, they will rapidly silt-up and make the problem even worse.

Find the low spots and use a cut-off saw to widen the joints to around 12mm

Right managed to do a Mornings work before the bastid rain came in.

It needs wacking and jointing up but its not too bad. he joints are not totally aligned TBH, and im not too sure why as i started off with a straight edge etc etc.

Anyway her we go.

With a straight joint pattern like that you will always get some slight wiggles, can't be off it with no interlock
looks a great job, don't forget to cut the drainage slots in the kerbs MSH :)

Thanks MSH!!

I must of spent 2 hours trying to tap the pavers back in alignment :p before finally cutting in.

ive still got about 5 sq m to do and ill try and get that done tommorow morning.

would you classify that 12x12cm blocks very hard to lay straight ?

Thanks for all your help guys!!

ps Gonna cut the drainage slots in tommorow before it rains tommorow.
