You may know or not - had serious plant thefts locally over last 3 mths - (I got off lightly) (Sth Bucks) - just been down the pub & bumped into local farmer (tractor & 2 diggers & trailer & shredder went 6 wks ago) - he & his son know exactly who's doing this - word is, they've gone Luton way - also they're transfering their knicking tractors operation around Luton area - if you hear anything LLL - please pm me.
This is a highly professional outfit. (Motherfuckers).....
ps - the old bill are frightened of them ?

Allplant had a smartly dressed guy come in and rent a digger,he had cards headed paper the lot
anyway off he went with the digger and they checked the company and it was bogus
tracker was switched on but it went dead at the gypsy site near the A1 hatfield, police didnt want to know as it was a civil matter
???
until they start getting big lumps for plant theft, it will remain a highly lucrative crime,i used to know 1 guy ( steroid freak doorman) who was always bragging about such stuff (thought it was lies TBH)
when he got arrested ,his gang had stolen and moved on 4 million quids worth of plant,he got 4 years and was out in 30 months
hardly a disincentive for criminals when robbery and drug dealing routinely gets 10 year sentences for much less money
i know some country type near hitchin and plant theft has become a way of life for them now
tony martin for PM i reckon

As you know, I'm an old leftie, but after seeing that prog on TonyM last night, I'm losing my patience.

was working on a site in Edinburgh next to the city express road (think town centre) 2no large generators, you would need a 24ft flatbed to carry 1 both disappeared one Sunday morning they put cones up on the road, stoped traffic and stole them, strangely enough this was at the same time as the Gypsys camp up at sighthill (3 miles away).
God loves a tryer

a guy i knew hired a car and took it to spain for 9 months, when he returned he owed a lot of hire but hadnt commited any offence (long time ago mind)
I think the police dont like to tangle with the pikeys unless its concrete proof
sad but its the way it is

Used to do alot of work around that area. Have sometimes ventured there, purely by mistake ofcourse, to see the "wildlife" lolrab1 wrote:Stuarty, why would I have possibly heard of constitution street in leith?, just out if interest do you also go down there at night or purely for work during the day?.
