Hi all,
Great site, learning loads.
If a drive is sealed, does it not become permeable anymore ?
Anyone know how the law stands with this.

In theory, if it was a permeable construction before sealing, it should be after sealing, but if you are talking about a conventional pavement that might be regarded as 'leaky' rather than truly permeable, some sealants will, in effect, render it impermeable, while some will still allow it to leak.
It all depends on how the driveway was constructed and which sealant was used.
I can't see how the law impacts upon this. I can only think you;re referring to the comedy legislation of last October, so I can only reiterate what I said in my first sentence.
