30 cuts needed to do the recess manhole and i struggled my b@ll@cks off as the saw was a real pain to start sometimes only to find out it was just a dodgy spark plug and a fuel trim screw on the carb.
I will be doing the patio area in a Buff coloured flag to contrast the Bradstone blue/back which looks more like grey and white to me.
I agree with the pointing a dark grey is what i was thinking but i will say it's nice to see the water running down from the french doors draining away from the house.
Oh and thanks for the comments.

Thankyou lutonlagerlout .
It's been a slow process with the preperation and the base but at least i know it has been done proper.
I will say it has been hard work 8 ton of MOT1 and 3 ton of sand lgging it "UP" the back entry from the bottom Alley gates , but at least when its all done i can stand back and admire my own work and how much cash i have saved.
When i first started i wanted it all just blocked paved but i am so much happier in the way i have done it now.
I was quoted £2800 to have it blocked paved 57 Sq m and i reckon it would have been alot more to flag it.

Thanks for the comments again guys and it will would have took around 200 flags when complete not including the area in which the shed is on as i just used my old but newish 2x2 flags on that area.
The cheapest place believe it or not now for the flags is B&Q for the Bradstone Texured as they have a 20% sale on and i take the old fellow to get another 10% on a Wednesday so 30% is a real good saving.
My next job is to build the step near the back door as it is 4 course of brick low or 3 course by the time it is flagged which ever way you look at it.
I have a fair amount of block paving left well enough to build a step but i am a little unsure on how to , would it be ok to turn the blocks on edge and do it that way or would i need to buy some proper bricks ?

Ok all the path has now been done down to the gate i will make a start on the what i called patio area which is 21ft x 9ft as i have a buff coloured bradstone texture to do this but also have approx 18 grey/blue left over from the path i would like to know if anyone has any ideas they can forward to me for a design maybe do the flags in a diagonal design opposed to a straight design as i have done in the path or a mixture of both.
