Long lost thread - Can anyone recall

I'm in Germany at the moment, and for reasons that would take too long to explain, I need to find a thread that was posted to the Brew Cabin 2-3 years ago, but try as I might, I can't bloody find it.

For those of you with long memories, it featured a photo where cobbles/duckstones had been laid to an area at the side of a path, and within the allegedly random alignment of cobbles/duckstones, some wag had likened his boss to a gynaecological body part: four letters, begins with "c", you know the one.

Can anyone remember when and/or where that thread or just the photo might be?

Should be back in Britain next week and will, hopefully, find time to catch up with everything I've missed in the Brew Cabin over the past month.

I think this thread was called "Site hilarity" started by Stuarty, some good old scots humour heheh

I don't know if the photo will still be there, as I think photo bucket has a habit of getting rid of old photos.

Somewhat along similar lines - In 2006 I cut a landing strip in the field, for my mate's new microlight to land. As he wasn't then qualified, this Swedish guy we knew, was flying it from Wales to here, staying the week-end, then they both were flying it onto France. About an hour before it was due, my mate asked to borrow the ride-on mower - said he was gonna cut a huge "welcome" into the long grass, so Mr Sweden could identify the field. Great idea. Everything went well - bit of a bumpy landing, but we had a great boozy week-end and they left on the monday morning. It wasn't til they mailed me the photos a week later I saw his handywork.....!!



For the next couple of months you'd hear any passing light aircraft de-throttle, go round and have a good look.....brilliant.

i've just spent 6 days in berlin on a stag do, slept for about 12 hours in total my liver was hurting all day today laying some horrible 200mm thick yorkies haha


so some photos that might interest the brew cabin, you don't want to see the beery ones from 8am haha...

double layer of cobbles laid follows the path of the demolished berlin wall, lots of the big old cobbles in berlin on most residential roads laid in a cheffron pattern.

Very interesting that Giles, always fancied going to do the battlefield/ war memorial visits from both world wars.

i have done with my dad d-day landing for a week, and first world war 2 weeks very interesting indeed. my dad a real history buff so at 13 we were in verdun and ypres all great stuff highly recommend it. i'll dig some photos out some time and bore you all haha.

6 days on a stag do ! - endurance test more like.
Going to Prague for 3 days in sept for similar (they're all a bit younger than me )
Any advice?

we had a wide age range, i was youngest at 27, a load at 34 then two lads int their 50's.

standard tour rules apply

eat at every opportunity
dump at every opportunity (don't ignore a clean bathroom with paper haha, you never know where the next one will be)
drink at every oppertunity
and what goes on on tour stays on tour

ours wasn't an all out beer fest plenty of nice meals and weren't doing pints of top shelf etc just beer and a few cocktails as the nights went on. you can always slip a water inbetween drinks neck it and say it was neat vodka haha. best way to beat the hangover keep hydrated, i also found having a 1 yr old son great training for it, a year of disturbed sleep seems to prepare you well for boozey weekends

I've got a three day stag weekend next weekend; 20/20 cricket match at Bristol on [Cider] Friday, some sort of it's a knockout on Saturday and Beer Keller on Sat Nite.......wake up Sunday, more beer, travel back to Somerset, hit local pubs on Sunday PM.

Monday, start biggish job :p

hey stuarty long time no see!
your getting like me giles,i wanted to take pictures of sett paving in lille and the mrs went off in a huff,also in italy there was some stunning steps in setts and stone and it looked like they used polymeric sand to joint
6 day stag do?????

i can only do 2 proper days drinking now, have to do some sightseeing and eating otherwise i start sliding off

main rule on stag does is :
Any man found in possession of photographic equipment or film on a stag do may be legally kicked to death by his mates.
