Bedding mix 1:10?

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Been reading the site and it recommends a 1:10 sand cement mix for bedding flags. Would this be enough? I have been reading other websites and they seem to state that its not enough.


p.s. im laying 20mm slate on 100mm of type 1.

i usually do a 6 to 1 mix

Same here ive seen guys use 10:1 but i usualy use 6:1:)
