First time used romex patio.Absolute best stuff i've used for a long time, not cheap tho.I did 50m3 of saxon natural laid in a random pattern, romex was brushed in in half hour, compared to be being on your knees for 2 days pointing.
Thanks to Stone scene in Wigan for supplies.Mentioned Pavingexpert.com to John and Julian. They said oh,we know Tony Mc'cormaic, once u meet him u will never forget him they said.

especially if you spell his name wrong on the forum :;):
i much prefer the patio to the rompox, also i tend to push it in with a jointing iron rather than just sweep it over, takes a tiny bit longer but makes me happier its filled all the void

Just been reading the main site
http://www.pavingexpert.com/point_romex01.htm
Have I got this right?
Rompox Patio needs to be mixed before using.
Rompox Easy can be used straight from the tin.

Obviously Rompox Easy is quick and easier but is Rompox Patio a slightly better product?
Is there much difference in cost?

rompox patio is already mixed and comes in either 15kg or 25kg tins.

I'm confused! taken from this Romex Patio leaflet
http://www.pavingexpert.com/pdf/romex_patio.pdf

2-4 Pour the 25 kg filler component completely into the bucket and start the mixing process. Whilst mixing, slowly add the separately packaged special resin component
(0,75 kg tin) completely into the mixture. Mixing time: at least 3 minutes.
5-6 After 3 minutes of mixing time pour the pavement fixing mortar into a clean, dry bucket and mix for at least 3 more minutes. Please make sure that when pouring into the new
bucket, all the resin remains on the inside of the bucket are scraped off and added to the new bucket. Total mixing time (steps 1 - 6): at least 6 minutes.

As Rompox Patio is mixed with KDS am I right in saying that it's cheaper to do a job with Rompex Patio than Rompex Easy.
If so in % terms how much approx is it cheaper?

whats this like compared to ncc streetscape vdw800?

i cant seem to get hold of any romex stuff, but the ncc stuff is the bollox, i would guess its much the same though as its a sand and then a resin mixed in and then some water mixed up with a plasterers paddle.

seriously expensive though

where can i get romex in essex? or is there a dealer? last time i phoned a number it was useless
