Well I finished it two weeks ago, then she-who-must-be-obeyed said 'Why dont we slab the shrubbery too?'
So thats what the triangular bit in the corner was. Oh, put the step in too, some bits left over from a job
This is the rear patio, excuse the mess, its work in progress. The bald patch on the grass was the spoil heap :;):
This is the lower patio, the bit on the right was my...err I mean the shrubbery wail
Made this step using off cuts. Good eh? Oh,and before someone says anything, the edgings would have come out if the missus had decided what we were doing with the shrubbery (did you like that? missus decided what we were doing?)
And wait till Tony see this.......
My new drain assembly! Ive combined the properties of an old shower drain and granno to make a contemporary new garden drainage feature  Couldnt be bothered with going the whole hog for a conservatory run off.
Just in the process of slabbing the shrubbery ,then off to me dads to lay another 25 mtrs, no rest for the wicked

is that black half round stop end off the roof gutter or like me do you just end up with bits of random stuff floating around your garden?

I just can never part with stuff as 'there just might be a job for that'
Glad you like it, was a bit apprehensive as its the biggest job Ive ever done, also, the sandstone was really riven and from 25mm-65mm. But ,I must hand it to you all, if it wasnt for this site it would have looked half as good. :;):

We had one years ago without nets and as the kids were younger then, they still had no problems with it. Glad they did bring out the nets in cause it co-incided with their interest in WWE, so now they can knacker each outer out even faster being Rey Misterio and the Big Show . Result!

We have a decent-sized trampoline in our garden complete with nets, kids love it! They've spent hours on/in the damn thing! Best £175 I ever spent I reckon.

I hated the idea of having the thing back, left me lovely lawn with patches, but as you say Dave, best money ever spent. I actually get an hour to meself without hearing 'Can I...' or 'Have you...'Dave_L wrote:We have a decent-sized trampoline in our garden complete with nets, kids love it!
