I built it over the last few months!
Yup they are LBC antique rustics, i did that to match the house brick. I filled the earth side with pea shingle, well it's done now. Incidently i have a low, single course front garden wall that's 70 plus yr old out of the same brick and that's ok, not retaining though. Are you up for quoting me on the paving?

I'm now in this market.
I like your Stoneflair Purestone Rosemount Richie :) have also noted simplypaving as your supplier.
Syd perhaps you could let me know what you decide on and who you are getting it from.

looks the same as global stone's modak rose?
TBH there are 4 main quarries in rajasthan (sic) and different companies call them different things
the laying and the jointing can make any stone look good
LLL :)

Bob A,

I ordered s/flair purestone glendale (two large patio packs @15m2ea and one small@7m2). Ordered from simplypaving, if you quote 'best of british' when placing the order by phone they will give you 5% off the web price (it was a daily Telegraph promotion). That got it down to exactly £21m2 inc vat.

Looks good but one tiny question....why did'nt you picture frame the whole circle feature with setts, instead of just the three sides.?

I laid the whole thing out dry first, and to be honest it just didn`t look right framed with setts on all four sides. It made the 900 wide path to the shed look seperate from the rest of the paving. Its not easy to see from the photo`s i`ve posted but when the weathers better and i`ve jointed it i'll take some better pics.

The path had to line up with the shed entrance which meant that the circle feature needed moving more towards the garden wall, which would of meant shortning one side. If this makes any sense.!!!!!

Some advice if ordering from simplypaving. I thought i`d order the whole job from simply which included all the sand, subbase and cement. Just because i thought the guy would come with a forklift truck on the back of the wagon to offload the paving which he then could of transported the sand to where i wanted it around the back of the house.
All they did was pass the order on to travis perkins which delivered the sand and subbase. I get good discount in travis so i had to pay the full price as i`d ordered through simply who i had allready paid...

Do you know when the offer runs out?
I've tried the Daily Telegraph website and a bit of Googling to find out but to no avail.

You can only try. I just happened to remember reading the offer a couple of months ago and thought i'd ask. Not a huge discount so should imagine it would continue.
