Secondly, you should name the product you used to re-colour the concrete as this is a common request
As there hasn't been any reply from the OP as to these products does anyone else have any ideas as to what they might be.
I was going to reseal my drive (my pattern and colouring are exactly the same as above) but seeing how good it looks (matter of opinion on here) after the colouring I would like to do the same.
This looks exactly like the surface has been sealed using a pigmented sealer - if this is done well and a top coat of unpigmented sealer applied, this can be a reasonably lasting solution although you do lose the two-tone antiquing effect as can be seen from the photos.
Thank you for this info, I thought that was the case and I will be measuring my drive area to determine how much of both products I will be needing.
I am thinking that the best method of application for the coloured coat is using a brush for the edges and roller for the remainder and using a sprayer for the final clear coat.
I was wondering if gloss would be the best clear sealant as that is how the original driveway was coated but does that look to artificial? Would a matt finish be a better proposition?

Steven WoP might know....
I am still here and do check the site on a regular basis so am not a one off visitor!
I have replied to a number of private messages regarding the supplier of the product I used.
The supplier sells his prodicts via Ebay. This link should work:
When I coloured mine you had to colour it first and then seal it afterwards. The new product he offers is an all in one solution.
Please be aware that the colour I painted on last year has now started to wear away in places so it looks as though it will need doing every year to keep it looking its best.
No offence intended, LJU. I looked back through this thread and there was no follow-up telling us what you had used and whether you thought it successful, so I assumed (wrongly) that you'd got what you wanted and left, not that there's anything wrong with that.
I don't expect a lifetime commitment from posters. This is an information resource and the vast majority of users post one question, get the answer they require, and then they're off. It's great when we get feedback, as it tidies up and completes a thread, but I'd be incredibly naive to expect one-off posters to do that.
Anyway, great to see you're still around and enjoying the craic!
Just an update to say that I have now done my drive using the pigmented sealer from the seller MJU mentioned and there is a marked improvement. However, I don't feel that it would prove to have a lasting long term effect, as is, so I am now going to use a clear sealant and sprayer to finish the job off.
The same guy on ebay also sells a sealant but I think I might use an ebay company called "Sealer Solutions" as they have a product called "Ultra" that seems to be just what I am looking for and I believe that they are part of a bigger company (Advanced Sealing Solutions) well respected for their products in this area.
I'm thinking of using two coats and wonder if anyone has an opinion as to whether the gloss will look too glossy and that I might be better off adding a matting agent to the mix. Also, the driveway is flat but would it be advisable to add an anti slip agent as well?
I'm not sure if this is more of a gimmick as if really effective I would have thought that health and safety regulations would have made it compulsory to be added to sealers, not as an option.
