Hi,

We have a kit for making paving slabs so we have forms and letters and stuff .. but we are unsure about the mix to use to make the slabs.

They will be used for a garden path, just foot traffic.

Many thanks,

Monkey

The kit we have comes from the states and they recommend something called Vinyl Patch Kit or Quikcrete ... is there a UK equiv?

Thanks.

The "recipes" for concrete used by flag manufacturers is NEVER revealed because it's commercially valuable information. Each manufacturer develops a specific mix that makes the best of their sands and aggregates, their water, their moulds, their machinery and so on.

You'll have to do a bit of trial and error to find a mix that works for you and gives the sorts of compressive strengths and abrasion resistance that you require.
