Colour faded on pic drive

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

I have searched for an answer before posting this question but came up empty so hopefully will not get flamed for not checking earlier posts.

I have a imprinted pattern concrete driveway (grey) and although it doesn't have a lot of traffic it has started to suffer from wear and tear over the years.

The sealer has worn off and there are small parts where the concrete is now showing due to wear and tear so I have a couple of questions I would ask for expert help to resolve.

As the colour is only a powder coating added at the time of construction is there any method of re-colouring the surface that wouldn't look horribly artificial, like a garage floor or worse.

In the event of the answer to the above being that it would be better to leave as is then would re-sealing it help? I assume that it might enhance the remaining colour and that the overall effect could be a great improvement.

If this is the consensus then the two questions I would like help on are:

A) What is the best sealant for PIC and is matt or gloss finish better (in your opinion)?

B) Is there a cleaner that can be recommended that will get rid of the green algae that has formed in the more shadowy parts of the drive that will not detrimentally affect the colouring that remains?

Obviously I need to thoroughly clean the drive properly prior to the application of the sealant and I understand that there is then an amount of time to be left to allow the area to dry out but any other information would be very welcome.

Well if you had of looked up PIC before having the drive done you would have found out its

I hate the stuff, it alway looks s**t and is s**t. Its waste of money. I may change my mind when I see a decent job.

Thanks for your opinion but I have to differ. I am very pleased with the way mine looks and the way it has stood the test of time. Also, 18 years ago there wasn't that much information about so research was limited.

Has anyone has anything constructive to contribute regarding the questions I asked?
