Hi all,

Last weekend I took on my first DIY building job and built a doorstep for our front door. The step is currently finished in mortar awaiting the application of the quarry tiles I purchased from Wickes a few weeks back.

I was going to use a wet mortar mix to bed the tiles on, but reading Ossett's post here I am concerned that this may not be satisfactory. Should I also use an SBR polymer additive to the mortar, a proper floor tile adhesive of sorts, or simply carry on with a simple mortar mix?

Cheers!

there is no disadvantage to using sbr in your mix, so i'd use it
