Do us a favour, Michael, and tap that Caps Lock key on your keyboard - using all upper case letters is the 'net equivalent of SHOUTING!

I can't figure out why you're using flat-tops against the walls, unless it's the look you like, but even so; laying them on a concrete bed, even if it's just 30-50mm, will be much easier than plonking them on soil or sub-base material.

If there is a solid wall behind them, ther's no need to haunch, obviously, but if it's just soil or anything else that is not rock-hard and immovable, then they really ought to be haunched in place to prevent them moving once the paving is complete.

Does that make it clearer?

Sorry about the caps,im on a work computer and its always on.
They are'nt going up against a wall but a path that runs alongside the wall (orkward to explain without seeing it) but your the man in know and if you say a little concrete will do the trick i'll give it whirl.
Cheers for the info on the site,i'll send you some picks when it's done, thats if it turns out right.
As for you not being able to get a decent pint down here in Camberley im not surprised as there's not much real ale down here.
